Doha Care Services joined the world in breaking the stigma on dementia.
World Alzheimer's Month is an international campaign launched by Alzheimer’s disease International celebrated every September to raise awareness and challenge the stigma that surrounds dementia.
As part of Doha Care Services’ program in celebrating 2019 Dementia Month, the company conducted a Poster Making and Essay Writing contest. The contest brought out the creativity of the Staff Nurses as all the seven Villas competed in creating the best poster and essay. The activity has also given Staff Nurses an avenue in making a statement that nursing is truly not just a profession but also an art.
The entries were thoroughly deliberated by the management. Nurse Rizza Joy Ayala of Villa 137 won the Essay Writing while Christian Ranieses won the Poster Making.
